Manic Monday! LOL ; )

GOOD MORNING! I decided for the next few Mondays I am going to call them Manic Mondays and discuss topics to make them not so manic with tips and tricks that are good for the body, mind and soul. Today's topic Laughing and Smiling......
When you wake up in the morning the first thing you should do is look in the mirror and smile, a BIG CHEESY SMILE. It will change the mood. Not too many of us enjoy waking up in the morning so might as well try and make the best of it. Smiling at yourself in the mirror is pretty retarded (especially a big cheesy one) so it should make you laugh......LOL! I laugh at myself all my time. Anything you gotta do to crack a smile or make yourself laugh is the goal. Even if you have to tape a funny picture on the bathroom mirror, do it!

The health benefits of laughing
Laughter is good for your health

  • Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
  • Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
  • Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
  • Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.

A good laugh actually works out the diaphragm and contracts your abs. Laughing burns calories too. Studies show that laughing for 15 minutes a day can burn up to 10 - 40 calories depending on the person's weight and the intensity of the laugh.

Point I'm trying to make here is SMILE!!!! LAUGH!!!! It's good for you and way better than getting stressed over stuff. Who cares it's Monday...LAUGH at Monday!

On your way too work alone there are a million things you could laugh at, you see all those moron's on the road next to you LOL. That idiot that cuts you off, just laugh and say you idiot hahahahaha you can't drive hahahahaha you wish you could drive as good as me and SMILE, smile real big. This is a way better option than getting all upset and stressed I promise. 
Even at work, that one co-worker that you can't stand, just smile and laugh at them in your head as they blab on and on as you think in your head how dumb and pathetic they are LOL. 
Whatever you gotta do...lighten up, be happy, smile and laugh as much as possible (even if it's at yourself)
